Winter Walks

I love this time of weather.  Yes, I do mean weather and not year. We are having an unseasonably warm February.  I love it!!  Last Saturday, Nate suggested that we go for a family walk.  He dug the sled out of the snow bank and even helped bundle up the baby.
I love her chubby, rosy cheeks poking out of her hood.  The older two girls walked a good part of the way and only climbed into the sled when daddy was giving "spinny rides."
Our youngest had to watch big sister have a turn before she was ready to try it out for herself. She likes to be just like her big sisters. So if they like something, she has to try it.
Of course she had to do it by herself, just like her big sister!  She loved it and didn't want to get out. So her sisters climbed in front of her.

Nate spun them around as fast as a sled full of girls can go. The front lifted off the ground and everyone slid to the back of the sled, squealing with delight.

After that, "Baby" decided that the front would be a better spot. One squishing was enough  for her.  Though it wasn't enough to make her want to get out!

The end result was three happy daughters, one happy, but exhausted daddy, and lots of fun pictures.
