Who remembers puffy paint? It has had it's place in many a creative and often kitschy crafts and clothes. However, I must admit I have become strangely fond of it lately. I have discovered a new method of application that has opened a world of opportunity. I start with a plain t-shirt, razor blade, freezer paper, black puffy paint, and a makeup sponge. I select a silhouette to transfer. Cut it out, and trace it on to the freezer paper. Then I carefully cut out the negative pattern on the freezer paper and iron the it onto the shirt. Finally I sponge the black paint onto the shirt space not covered by freezer paper. Once dry I peel of the freezer paper and VOILA! A faux screen print tee! Here are some examples.
