The day started out cloudy with rain mists, disappointing since it was planned that we would go hiking that morning. But God, in His great grace caused things to happen so that we were running about four hours late. By the time we made it to the mountain, the skies had cleared and the air had warmed. The day was the sunniest and clearest we had experienced for about a week.
This is a view from about three-quarters of the way up the mountain. I didn't make it all the way to the top.

Instead I stayed and took this little group rock climbing on the outcropping where we stopped. That was quite the exciting adventure.
Heading down the rocks. He was a little trooper. Even though he was scared he (literally) "grinned and bore it."

Finally we made it back to the trailhead.

Wish I could of gone, it looks like fun. I know you planned it just so that I couldn't go though. ;)
