Ok, so I wanted to write something wise and witty about how we should be good stewards of our natural resources as well as our personal resources, but time and mental resources have not allowed me. Instead I will just show pictures of our fun day at the Alaska Department of Fish and Game's fun day.

We made buttons.
This was actually really fascinating. The girls took water color pencils and pastels, colored the fish (rainbow trout), and then painted over the colors with water to blend the colors. The turned out great.
This is how they measure up to a Canada Goose.
